Taca

Mexico invented the taco, but California made it their own. And while one's rooted in tradition and one revels in the untraditional, both still share the freshest ingredients. The boldest flavours. And that same expressive West Coast spirit.

So when it came to Mission St. Tacos — as it was then known — a London-based takeout taqueria aiming to transport people 7,000 miles west with authentic flavour, we wanted to celebrate this cultural collision. Creating an identity that honoured both countries approach to the humble taco, with an attitude that felt at home from San Fransisco to Salina Cruz.

This is where the boldest flavours meet the freshest ingredients.
Where salsa meets sweet.
And lemon meets lime.
This is where mescal mixes with Malibu.
Hollywood meets Guadalajara.
And football shares a pitch with soccer.
Think Luchadores and Lakers.
Sombreros at Big Sur.
Surfers serenading señoritas.
Baja meets boho.
This is where the Chiapas crosses the Golden Gate.
Where Chilangolandia meets the Golden State.
Where Mexico meets California.
